World Water Day 2020

Every year, World Water Day is held on 22 March to raise people’s awareness of the most important foodstuff, because water is the basis of all forms of life. This year’s motto is “Nature for Water” and points out the importance of ecosystems for water availability.

Read the United Nations Declaration on this topic: World Water Day 2020

For waterkiosk, every day is a “water day”, on which we tirelessly drill, build, filter, pump, disinfect and plan further. In order to achieve our goal for 2020, namely to provide access to clean drinking water for over 100,000 people in Tanzania.

Help us to make a difference and donate today.

Happy World Water Day!

Moravian Church Center

The SoWaDis plant at the Center of Moravian Church is a fully functional plant, but is also used as a demonstration and test plant by our project team in Mbeya.

As always in our projects, not only our project team but also the affected people helped, especially with the laying of the water pipes, the installation of the SoWaDis plant and the construction of the tower for the water tank and the tap station. The material for the tower construction and the tap station was also provided by the Church Center.

With this first SoWaDis plant in Mbyea we reach about 150 people and are pleased together with the project manager Christopher Wellauer about the very successful start in the southwest of Tanzania.
