Solar power for future scientists.

The Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University uses solar energy for both energy supply and water treatment.

The solar modules ensure the permanent operability of the various faculties. This is extremely important as there are frequent and increasing power outages due to the overloaded Tanzanian power grids.

The SoWaDis plant provides clean drinking water to approximately 500 students at the faculty of science at all times.
