St. Joseph is more than a school – for many children, it is a home.
What started in 1996 as a nursery for children from poor backgrounds and orphans, is now a day school and boarding school.
The st. Joseph primary school in Rombo, not far from the border to Kenya, is now frequented by around 400 students. Two thirds of these students live inside the school, which means that clean drinking water must be available 24 hours a day.
Therefore, a water tank was built two years later.
